Hi Jan

 Thank You

The Mary Marsh in Bridgegate is my 2 X Great Grandmother ( I have a copy of this also found her on the 1851 census ) She married a Thomas Turner  her sister Caroline also married a Turner one of the sons from  the Turner family from St Peters  I was hoping they may be the same families but my Thomas Turner on the 1871  and 1881 census in Rotherham states he was born Coventry Warwick  Mary Marsh and Thomas Turner had  6 children all born Derby  The Daughter of these two Caroline Turner my Great Grandmother was baptized aged 19 in Rotherham just before she married . Cannot find any baptisms for any of the other 5 children  It gives the date of birth for Caroline on her baptism but the register office can find no record of it in Derby   They  should be on the 1861 census for Derby but i have been through the whole of the 1861 and cannot find them  .

This is the info from the 1871 Census
16 Henry Street
Rotherham

Thomas Turner  38 Painter born Warwick Coventry
Mary Ann Turner 33 Born Derby
Elizabeth Turner 13 Born Derby
Caroline Turner 11 Born Derby
Mary Jane Turner 9 Born Derby
Louisa Turner 7 Born Derby
Harriet Turner 5 Born Derby
Henrietta Turner 2 Born Codnor Park

Thanks for the help need to find out which of the Turners Caroline married
James Thomas or William
