Hi Trying to find the death of Patrick O`Neil born around 1850 in Ireland Married to Mary Gardner
2 children that i know of Elizabeth born 2 May 1871 in Strabane Co Tyrone, and Catherine born 5 Aug` 1873 in Anderston Glasgow.

Peter died before Elizabeth`s marriage to James McNulty on the 15th July 1892 so died between 1873 and 1892, and i am assuming died in Scotland but i cant find him in the records at the local history centre

Using +/- 3 years from 1850 and between 1873-1892 yielded 50 hits with Scot's People.  Glasgow alone returned 10 possibles.

William, what is the last census you have Peter in before 1892? 1881 or 1891?

You would need to check the original image to see what shows for Mary's marital status (widowed/married) but this looks like the family in 1891:
