Hi and welcome to Rootschat

Another member called Dannemois has extensively researched residents/visitors etc of Brithdir so may have info on his database to help you.  Not sure re: Tredegar

jones,winstone and landrygan.

You need to supply full names and timescales please as nobody would know which particular family you are researching

I will send a pm to Dannemois directing him to your post

Hi Deb
I knew some members of your family very well; Tot & Beryl Way, Reg and Mrs Winstone and particularly their daughter Jan, we were friends during our teenage years.

I'm curious what your maiden name would be, Way, Winstone or A.N. other?

PS; I've just received your other message.

Hi Deb
Rootschat forum is a great place to find details on ones forebears; I personally rate it above Ancestry simple because of its many many friendly and knowledgeable members who like nothing better than to help others solve their family history problems.

I have looked for a marriage for Thomas Gannon = Adeline and the only one I can find is this one: Marriages Dec 1887 Thomas GANNON & Adeline Delfine Hughes, Birmingham 6d 65
Using their details I checked for a birth (Winifred) and the only birth I can locate for a Winifred born 18 Feb 1888 is this one:
Winifrida Gannon
Birth Date: 18 Feb 1888
Christening Date: 05 Apr 1888
Christening Place: Birmingham, Warwick, England
Father's Name: Thomae Gannon
Mother's Name: Annae Mariae Hughes Gannon

Could this be your grandmother I wonder? (note transcribed as read)

PS: Say hello to Brian, played skittles with him many years ago.

Roy
