However there is a baptism of a John Carter in Titchfield on 15 Jul 1832 with parents John and Mary Ann Carter so this doesn't look like your George John Carter

Are you sure that the George John Carter bapt in 1833 in Southampton didn't die in the same year as suggested in info posted on your previous thread http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=664150.msg5094892#msg5094892

This George Carter was baptised in Titchfield in 1832 but had parents George and Eliza https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NN9G-3HW

Dear Kay and everyone that tried to help I must say that I am very sorry for not listening to what you were telling me I was going by what a relation of mine told me and went down the wrong road my ggreat granddad was called just George Carter (and not George John Carter) it was not until I received his marriage certificate and a close cousin of mine pointed different things out to me that realized I was wrong I have now got to retrace my ancestors from the 1800s backwards and try and get things correct.
Sorry and thank you and I hope that you all will still help me from time to time.
chacha.
