Would appreciate some assistance in locating Adelaide Jane Lloyd in the 1901 Census.

Adelaide Jane Lloyd born in abt 1861 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire was the daughter of Samuel Lloyd ironmaster of The Farm, Sparkbrook, Birmingham and Jane Eliza Janson.

In the 1871 Census she was with her siblings and parents at Farm, Sparkbrook, Birmingham
[RG10/3139/141 p 24]

In the 1881 Census she visiting her Uncle and Aunt William and Rachel Lowe at Eatington, Warwickshire

In the 1891 Census Adelaide Jane was the Matron in the General Hospital, Warwickshire.
[RG12/ 2478/ 41 p17]

In the 1911 Census Adelaide is back with her father and some siblings at Farm, Sparkbrook, Birmingham.
[RG14; Piece: 18219.]

BUT where is she in 1901 ???

RG13/2828 folio 43, page 1
Children's Hospital (I think) Broad Street, Birmingham

Adelaide J Lloyd - 39 - Surgical Officer, Matron

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Hi Bumble Bee  :) I was just about to post that but got your 'red message'.

I believe 'surgical officer' belongs with the person above, who is 'resident surgical officer'. I think Adelaide is simply 'Matron'  ???
