Ancestry are offering "free Access" all weekend, 12:01 Thursday 17 April to 11:59 Monday 21 April for "all" immigration records into Australia. Have only just found out, so will have to have a look to see if I am there.

The website quoted in the paper is www.ancestry.com.au/immigration2014

How good it is I have no idea, just letting people know.

And if you change over to www.ancestry.co.uk they are having a Free Access to First World War records weekend. Which also includes 1901 & 1911 census records.

I just found my grandfather's WWI pension records.

ancestry.com also has free access all Easter Weekend.  Google ancestry free easter weekend and you will get the link. Uk 1901 & 1911 census and other uk records.
