« on: Thursday 24 April 14 23:31 BST (UK) »
I have the following family in 1871 and 1891 but cannot find them in 1881.

1871 5 New Hall Buildings, Normacott, Stone. RG10/2827/40/2
George Leese   39 born Caverswall
Hannah Leese.  36 born Longton
Elizabeth Alice Leese 16
Louisa Leese 13 (possibly Lucy)
Caroline Leese. 8
Joseph Leese.  5
Annie Leese.  3
All children born Longton

1891 220 High street, Longton. RG12/2181/57/4
George Leese 59 born Caverswall
Hannah Leese 55 born Longton
Frederick Leese 17 born Longton
Anne Leese 23 born Longton

Hoping someone can spot them as I am having no luck!
Thanks in advance

I am wondering if they are at 220 high street as his daughter Lucy has married and is possibly living at 223 high street. I can see lots of odd number houses for high street but not even numbers. Does anyone know which enumeration district the even numbers were in particularly number 220.

Thanks in advance.

Have looked on 3 different sites - zilch!   I think you just have to accept that somehow the enumerator missed them.   They simply aren't there under any guise.

I have looked too, trying even to find the children living away from the parents but the whole family seems to be missing  >:(

Cant seem to locate any even numbered houses in high street above 220. Any thoughts anyone. The odd numbers are there though!

They are there - for instance, RG11 - 2734 - 104 - 2 - covers numbers 210 to 220.

PS An acknowledgement to the 2 of us that have tried to help would have been nice!

I was under the impression we were having a 3 way conversation. And I always says thanks in advance.
But thank you to you both. Using a mobile makes including long posts hard so I try to keep them short when using mobile devices and only post longer messages when I have access to a desktop which doesn't necessarily happen every day.
Sorry and thanks again

First 2 posts were not from mobile and third was as I felt it important to continue the conversation and acknowledge that I had seen the help given
