Info on Dimmock family, Cradley, Dudley, Stourbridge

Hi! I'm from Australia and not very up on the counties of England, but my searh is around Cradley, Dudley, Stourbridge.

I'm looking for anyone with info on my paternal line of Dimmock. I know they were a long line of chain makers,

My Grandfather was George Thomas Dimmock 1909 - ? who married Elizabeth Williams in 1939. This was Elizabeth's 2nd marriage, previously married to Arthur Perry - I don't know what happened to Arthur but they did have my Auntie Hazel.

George's dad was also George Thomas Dimmock 1883-1960. He only had my grandfather, his wife Ann Eliza dying I think in childbirth in 1914. George fought in WW1 and remarried after his return to Laura Davies 1890-1957. My dad had always thought Laura was his grandmother.
Part of my quest with this search is to try and find out what happened to his 3 war medals.

The furthest back I've managed to get is George Dimmock 1814-1888 who married Fanny Yardley 1816-1888. I know they were married in St Thomas, Dudley in 1831. They are my great, great, great grandparents.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
