I don't have a date of birth for Thomas Taylor born 1879 (aged 22 in 1901 census) but I wonder if the William you mention, born 1879, was his twin brother.

As regards a Thomas being born in Cookstown circa 1879 the only one is in the same quarter Oct Dec 1879 as William however his page number is different so not a twin of William, there are a few later ones 88/89. Regards the 15 pound i mentioned re the will that is how much Rachel received.
