Hi, please can anyone advise me on how to find a newspaper article for 1927.  It is a court case held in Darlington.

British Newspapers are available on FindMyPast - if you provide a few more details then someone could have a look for you?

Just look up Britishnewspaperarchives and the durham papers only go up to 1909 so the rest have
not been digtalised yet, you could try the local library or archive to look up for you but that will cost

Hi thanks westmoreland, Do you know if I went to Darlington Library would the newspapers be there, or would I have to go to Durham, which would be harder for me to get to because of their opening hours.

As well as a full collection of microfilms for The Northern Echo, we also hold a range of other regional newspapers, mainly on microfilm.  http://www2.darlington.gov.uk/web/arena/resources
