Family Tree Maker 2006 Help !!!

I love this version Unfortunately a Norton online help removed this programme from my computed windows 7    I have used it fine for years

I have reloaded it and it will operate for a short while eventually it says some critical  componnent files are missing
Contacted Ancestry who said I need to upgrade

I have spent money on 2014 version and I loathe it
The screen is far to busy for me

Can any one tell me if I can buy a version compatable with Windows 7 that is similar to FTM2006

I reloaded 2006 version tonight and it worked until I had to shut my computer down Now It says files again critical componnent are missing

and follow the step by step instructions it works. I have it installed on my Windows 7 and I use it every day. The update says it is fro Vista but I can promise you it works just fine.
