Roche born 1622 Cloyne Diocese... moved to Martinique?
« on: Friday 16 May 14 15:02 BST (UK) »
Need help finding out if the Roche born in 1622 is related to my family.  I have hit a deadend at my 6th great grandfather James Roche.  James Roche is listed as this in Burkes Peerage General Armory:

Roche(Martinique, in the West Indies; allowed by Hawkins, Ulster 1725 to James Roche, of that place, seventh in descent from Phillip Roche of Serell and Rahan, sixth son of David, Viscount Fermoy, temp. Henry VI.).  Same Arms, Crest and Motto, a fleur-de-lis diff.

I need to find out who his father was.  I have a suspicion that his father was Jean/John Thomas Roche born in 1622 who emmigrated to Martinique and married Marie Castelle...

Can anyone help?
