Right again, Ros, it does say 75 for Thomas' age at death.

Thank you again for you help - any little bits and pieces are greatly appreciated -I have gained a lot already especially re Thomas Page death  and where he lived at that time. Just trying to very that his wife was Elizabeth - only says Mrs Page so more research!!!!!!! Siouxann

This looks to be the death reg for Thomas's daughter in 1866, so we know that Thomas was married/in a relationship with an Eliza at the time of Ann/Annie/Anna's birth, which was almost certainly no later than 1851, given her marriage in 1866.

The above is Elizabeth's parents and brother and his family.  Both Edward and Elizabeth have disappeared by 1841. My GG Grandfather married in 1835 - just can't find a beginning for Elizabeth. (Eliza) wouldn'y not have known she existed if I hadn't had the Switzerland's Passenger List transcribed with help - as Edward states Eliza Page as his sister already in Australia and his son John already in Australia.  was very hard to read - via Ancestry...

Actually, the manifest identifies her as Eliza's sister!  I know that they likely were not both named Eliza, but it is not unusual to see an Eliza and an Elizabeth in the same family.  I also concede that shipping records can be incorrect.

Eliza's relations in the colony - "son as above, sister Eliza PAGE, Steam Engine Inn, 516 George Street"

Their children's relations in the colony - "brother and aunt as above"

There has been some discussion on this Topic and I have not found anything definite for Eliza belonging to the Land family or the FOULKES family of Montgomeryshire, Wales where my Great Great Grandmother (she was married to Edward Land) came from.will go back over all records particularly for the FOULKES family as it has been a while since I researched my Father's side of the family.
