Hello!
I was just going through my family history, making sure I have all of the correct information, and started looking at this specific ancestor, and I cannot find any information on him in the birth county/town that my family member listed.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out, maybe some lookups or such.
Robert Dawson
b. 31 Jul 1815 in Butterknowle, Durham, England
d. 6 Oct 1893 in Craigs Hollow, Iowa, United States
Wife:
Isabella Alma Peart
b. 20 Apr 1816 Durham
d. 1 Dec 1894 Craigs Hollow
I believe they came to the US in early 1857, since one of their children passed away in the "Atlantic Ocean"
All but two of their children were also born in England (Durham according to family paperwork):
Ellen (died in infancy 1838)

Jeremiah (1845)
Jurrey (1846)
George William (1848)
John (1851, died at age 3)
Elizabeth (1854, a twin, died in infancy)

Mary (1861)
Any information I can get to help me make sure this is correct, and be able to go back even further would be greatly appreciated!
