Mary Ann Mockridge

Need help.  Mary Ann was born c1842/3 in South Australia.  Appears not to be registered.  She was not christened at Holy Trinity. (Unless the Mockridge name is spelt incorrectly)  Her older brothers were christened.
Mary Ann married Joseph Roberts in 1863.  He was 25 and she was 20.  Joseph died 23/11/1876.
Mary Ann then appears as the wife of Carl John Christison.  (This name can be spelt 7 different ways) They had a child Carl John born 1884
I cannot find this marriage.I am beginning to think it did not occur.
Mary Ann died 25/6/1904 and is buried with her son Carl John.
Carl John snr married Mellah Baum in 1908. He stated he was a widower.
I would be grateful for fresh eyes to see what I am missing.

Carl John Christison who married Minnie Catherine Jewell is the son.

Carl snr on his naturalisation cert was Karel Johann.  He also went under the name of Charles which as you know is the English way.

You are correct Mary Ann is buried with her son in Cheltenham Cemetery.

I think I have got it all correct. I cannot find the marriage of Carl snr to Mary Ann Roberts nee Mockridge.

Yes Giblet I know of that one Frederica.  He also had Carl John Jnr in 1884.  I found that one hard to find as the spelling was different.  I went through the Birth register books at the genealogy society and that one is sitting by itself because of the way it was spelt.  I also noticed the death of Johann Maria but I have not looked at that too much.  I am assuming she may not have lived too long and so the birth was not registered.
It is the marriage I am difficulty with.  Even Mockridge can be spelt differently.

Thanks Giblet I thought I may have missed it but I believe it never happened.  Even though he refers to Mary Ann as his wife in the death notice.  I find it interesting that when he married Mellah Baum he stated he was a widower.  Perhaps he was married back in Norway which is where he came from and that wife died.  Who knows. I guess we will never know
