COOPE at Habrough
« on: Tuesday 27 May 14 20:52 BST (UK) »
I'm wondering if anyone can shed any light on my GGrandfather and his family ? He was Alfred Richard Coope and he was the Station Master at Habrough railway station in 1867. He moved there from Sheffield with his wife Clementina and son Henry Samuel Coope. Their second son Fred was born in Habrough in June 1867 and I think they left the area in 1869. I'm hoping for pictures of the station, or better still, the station masters house. Many thanks in anticipation. Steve   :)

Not sure what information you want, do you want his parents, census, looks like he left a will.

Jennifer c, thanks for the reply. I'm hoping for pictures of the station or their house, which I presume went with the job of station master. Beyond that, Fred was born on June 22, 1867, so I would imagine that he may have been christened locally. Any info would be gratefully received. I did call at Habrough last sunday on my way home after a weekend in Hull, but, no one I spoke to had any info. Many thanks, STEVE.
