Look Up for a 1924 Leicester marriage if possible please.

Just wondering if anyone who has access to information or records and could kindly carry out a marriage Look Up please.

I am trying to find information on the marriage of Joseph Frost to Mabel May in the September quarter of 1924 in Leicester (7a 771).

For anyone to look up the details in a Parish Register, they would need to know what parish the marriage took place in, if indeed it was in a C of E church.

You probably need to buy a copy of the marriage cert to get the details.

Thank you very much for your reply and the details you enclose 

I knew it was a long shot but thought it may be worth trying a Look Up post. I could order a marriage certificate but I am not 100% certain this is the correct Joseph Frost that I am researching, the times/dates and location all make sense but because I can`t be certain I am reluctant to spend money on a certificate at this stage  hence the reason for my original post.

Hopefully someone may read this thread and have these people in their tree or details of the marriage

I have no idea if this is accurate or not, but a tree on Ancestry has Joseph's parents as:
George & Sophia Elizabeth (Wagstaff).

Mabel's parents:
Charles & Clara May.

Thank you very much for your reply. 

I knew Joseph`s parents names but I didn`t know Mabel`s parents names. I will not add them to my tree at the moment until I can substantiate the information. ( I once copied someones tree details but later found out that they were completely inaccurate and untrue, so since then I`ve been reluctant to use them until I can verify the details and information with records from the census and parish registers etc ).
