Hall family Warnham/Hellingly
« on: Sunday 26 June 05 11:45 BST (UK) »
Trying to trace the parents of Elizabeth Hall ch 29.05.1793in the district of Warnham. I think the father was John Hall. I would be grateful for any help in finding the parents ,siblings and earlier generations of this family. Eliizabeth went on and married a Samuel Sutton in Warbleton in 1814.

Many thanks

Ringrose

Ringrose,
I am also descended from John Hall and Hannah Newman via their son Thomas.  This is my direct paternal line.

I recognise that this is an old post but hope that you re still active on this forum.  Have you managed to get any further back in their ancestral line?

Regards
Brian Hall

How amazing...must be 5 years since I looked at the Halls and will need to refresh my memory.I know I had given up on them thinking aid hit a brick wall ...I wasn’t sure if I had the right parents for my Elizabeth.Im away at the present but will be home tonight.
Will look into my paperwork etc.
It’s good to have something crop up that you haven’t researched for ages.
I live in Windsor..are you anywhere near
Ri grose

Sorry, I live in Ballarat, Australia.

After John's early death, his son Thomas became a baker in Brighton.  His son, Richard, a baker in Shoreham. His son Morris (Maurice) came to Australia to the Ballarat gold rush in the 1850s.
