Ann Dulson - born Press Shropshire abt 1845

Hi I need help. I am stumped! Ann Dulson is my three great grandmother. She married George Manford in Ash Shropshire on Dec 29th 1870. I have the marriage certificate and she has no father named. They were both servants. I can't find anything for her before this marriage. After the marriage I trace them until 1891 when she is married to another man a William Phipps and living in Middlesborough. I can't find that second marriage and am guessing they maybe didn't marry. Who knows! Any help would be really appreciated.

The witnesses on the marriage certificate are the church curate and someone called Selina Huxley so not very helpful!

Yes that's them in 1881. John Manford is my great great grandfather. He is 1 in 1881.

Thanks. I think I am going to have to buy that birth certificate because the only other two Ann Dulsons in the area were born in 1842 so it seems most likely. Such a difficult family to trace!
