Trying to find the "Modify" Button!
« on: Wednesday 04 June 14 15:32 BST (UK) »
I would like to mark a thread as "completed" but I can't seem to find the "Modify" button.

Help please?

Hiya,

The "Modify" button remains there for 24 hours after a post is made.

Beyond this, you can press the "Report to Moderator" button for the post you want to modify.

Thanks Trystan. Does that mean that threads' titles cannot ever be amended to say "completed" cannot be  amended to say "[Title ...] completed" after twenty four hours without bothering a moderator???

Malcolm

A title or the post itself can be modified for the first 24 hours, that's correct, and beyond that you can ask a moderator to do it for you by pressing "Report to Moderator".

If you press the "Report to Moderator" on your own post and just say the topic is completed, then a moderator will either mark it as completed or moved to a completed board (depending on where it is).

We get lots of requests just like that. :)
