Little Annie Isobel ANDERSON is mentioned in a newspaper article regarding her father's accidental death in 1926. She is aged 8 according to the newspaper article.

http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/115127334?searchTerm=anderson rochester&searchLimits=l-decade=192|||l-year=1926

When I search for births and deaths of children her mother had. The only death I can find is for Annie Isobel ANDERSON in 1919.

Annie Isobel ANDERSON's parents were David Stephen ANDERSON and Elizabeth Eleanor Annie YEAMAN and the family lived in Rochester, Victoria.

Any help solving this mystery would be wonderful. Thank you, Ted

Thanks Ros I just found that one too.

I have just tried to purchase the 1919 Death certificate and it does not exist on the Victorian Births Deaths and Marriages site. So looks like Ancestry has stuffed up again. I wonder how they can make mistakes like that. The Death does not come up under a general search or by putting the reference number in.

Anyway thanks for your help. I'm glad she grew up and had children.

Cheers, Ted

Oooooh I just realized the ref no. for the BIRTH Merlin found is the same as the DEATH I found on Ancestry.

Now that is a huge big stuff up isn't it.

Thank you everyone for your help. Now I wonder how I tell Ancestry they are stupid.

Cheers, Ted
