Martha Emerton bapt 6 Apr 1679 at Husborne Crawley was my 6g grandmother. She was the dau of Stephen Emerton and Elizabeth Matthews who married at H-C on 20 Nov 1671.
Would love to know more about this family. Do the names appear in your database?
Regards
David

Hi David
Not sure I know that Thomas Emerton the Rope Maker had a daughter Caroline who married into my Sibley line but that is early 1800's.
Wish I could make the photo's attach as I can not send pictures of graves to other rootchatters.
Cheers Sandy

Hi again David
Just had a thought I have the Bedfordshire Book for Husborne Crawley from the 1500's (or 1600's ) I will see if I can go down the line and match up with your family.

Hi Sandy
The attachment thread is on
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,12753.0.html
If you have the H-C transcript I'd be very interested to know exactly what it says about the marriage of Thomas Cerket and Ann Lander on 28 April 1663
Many thanks
David

Hi Sandy
If it's that easy I may give it a try myself...but not tonight!
No rush with the lookup.
Many thanks
David

HI David
That's fine I am going to a funeral tomorrow so I guess I will be up until the early hours.
The book I mentioned is under copyright of the Bedfordshire County Council so can't display the information.
I do have numerous marriage certs for my own line that I have transcribed so maybe they may be helpful to some one else on Beds forum.
Cheers Sandy
