Nun, Liverpool

Has anyone any ideas how I can find a relative I believe became a nun,this was after 187,1 when she was confirmed,she was born 1854 in Liverpool.

Yes I have tried searching in all the census, but not knowing even if she would have gone under her birth name or Holy Orders name is difficult.Many thanks for your time anyway.tsumi

that's what I meant - there are many with their own name so I presume your relative isn't there with that.
It will be difficult then I would imagine unless there is some mention perhaps in her own parish records or family obituaries.

I found the catholic Family History Soc quite helpful, though they only had details on one of "my" 3 nuns.

If you believe she was in Liverpool then try this Email  RecOffice.central.library [-- at --] liverpool.gov.uk

Explain your problem they have many Catholic church records it might be in there.
