Hello

My ancestor William Walker was baptised on 13th November 1771 in Harrington Cumberland. His children were Sarah, John, Hannah, Isabella, Martha, William, Mary, Ann and Jane Walker.

His wife was named Sarah.

Could someone please have a look to see whom his wife's surname was, William's date of death and name of parents?

You can find baptisms for some of the children here. No maiden name given for Sarah, but it gives you some dates that you can track further into the parish records.

Both William and Sarah were still alive in 1841. Census ref: HO107/156/18/43/10

Sarah was Sarah Sewell - Marriage 1795 Moresby -  Wm down on Pallots as working as a collier at the time of his marriage to Sarah Sewel.

Hepburn mentioned it and it looks like a good possibility. Their first child Mary was born in 1799, only four years later.

William's baptism record does not state parents, at least not on the website I am looking at

Looking at the free bmd, there are several possibilities for William and Sarah's deaths

They are living in Harrington, Lowcra Cottages in 1841

Sarah                  William

Sept 1842            Jun 1844
Mar 1848             Dec 1844
Dec 1848             Mar 1850
June 1849           
             
Both William and Sarah are not on the 1851 census, clearly they have died by 1851

Found William's baptism, the website doesn't give names for parents though
