That's another thing to check then, to see what happened to that Mary Clare. You need that marriage cerificate of Mary and Laurence to see who is given as Mary's father. If it isn't Thomas then it is the wrong family in the census.

So if Margaret Mary had Mary Margaret...your Nanny at around the age of 16 in 1932...she would. Have been born in 1915/16

There is a birth on Ancestry RC births for Margaret Mary Clare 1917 in Dublin North.

You would have to buy it online,all you can see in Dublin is the indexes,much the same as you can here. To get a copy of a cert you need to purchase one.
