Do you know his Fathers Thomas's Occupation from his Marriage Cert?

1901 has a Thomas O'Brien, Dock Labourer, born Ireland in Liverpool, Lancashire
Son Patrick is born c 1885 Liverpool. No Occp shown for him.

2 others to try and track back to 1891 Census to find Parents are;
Patrick OBrian, born c 1880    St Marys Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales (on the "Pelorus" in Gibraltar).
Patrick Brien born c 1884 Ireland in the Royal Naval Barracks in Devon

I wouldnt rule out Scotland either for his POB as lots of Irish Families settled there.

Trish :)

Cant find that Thomas with a Wife Ann though in 1891 and with a Son Patrick. In the 1901 Census Thomas the Dock Labourer is Widowed.

Will get back to you if I find anything :)
