Sarah A Evans
« on: Thursday 26 June 14 21:07 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help me with the missing Sarah A Evans.

Born 1856 daughter of William Evans, can see her on the 1861 and 1871 but cannot find her after that and cannot see any death information?

I am trying to find out where she is and as to whether she may be the mother of Frederick William (age 14 in 1891 and living with his grandfather William but Aldo no trace on 1881 census.

Thanks

Mark

She could have married some time after the 1871...

If you use www.freebmd.org.uk you can narrow down the numerous Sarah Evans in Bedfordshire and cross check with the IGI at www.familysearch.org. You can also cross check with censuses. It might get expensive buying certificates from the GRO to try to prove it's the right one though.

In 1891 there's a Sarah Ann Ashby aged 35 b Toddington wife of Charles Ashby. Charles Ashby married either Sarah Evans or Sarah Kilby in Luton registration district in the December quarter 1882. It might be her. She had a daughter Louie. So did William Evans.

Can't see her in 1881 though
