Royal Engineers Aldershot

My Grandfather served with the Royal Engineers in Aldershot 1930's-1940's. Can anyone tell me something about them. All I know is Edwin Stonehouse was made a Major on retirement. My Mother was born in Aldershot in 1935 and her first words were spoken  in Chinese.  I presume they were in China around 1938.
            Any help much appreciated

What a great site thanks. I do not know what regiment he served with only Royal Engineers.

Did you scroll to the Royal Engineers ?
