Essex or Suffolk in 1911
« on: Sunday 13 July 14 11:42 BST (UK) »
Having trouble with a birthplace as seen in 1911 census.
The place is transcribed by someone as Wyvernstone, Suffolk but that doesn't seem right to me. Below it is the birthplace of his wife as High Easter, Essex. Is there a place in Essex that looks remotely like Wyvern......? Thanks for any help. T

St Marys Wivenhoe is in the diocese of Chelmsford - so would think p.o.b. in 1911 is Wivenhoe - spelled Wyvenhoe on census

But in 1858 (probable year of birth) we had civil registration, so if he were born in Wivenhoe his registration district would be Colchester, Tendring or Lexden
