« on: Sunday 20 July 14 21:51 BST (UK) »
sorry if this is on the wrong board, was wondering how to I find out where a soldier landed when returning from India and where do I find records for reason for discharge.
Also how do I find the birth of someone born to a soldier serving in Roorkee India 1906-1916
many thanks

he was discharged in Gosport in 1915,,,,he had been wounded by shellfire  in France in 1914...suffering a wound to his left thigh...he had to have the leg amputated.

Can I ask the exact nature of your post,,,is there something specific you are trying to find out?  do you have his service record?  are you trying to trace his parents,,or are you just looking for the birth of his second daughter?  ;)
