James died aged five months in 1819 and Thomas Herbert died in 1838.
James English senior buried 1874 aged 84 years, so born around 1790.
Elizabeth English his wife buried 1886, aged 89. Born around 1797.

Having found her burial, she was only 42 with the last one. 21 years between the first and last though  :o

According to the 1871 census James was born in Thorpe-le-Soken in 1791 though I can't find his baptism. In 1871 he was a butcher and a farmer of 24 acres.
Elizabeth was born in Ramsey; still searching for her surname and marriage

There's an Elizabeth Louisa Norris marrying a James English in buttsbury, Essex in 1813. That's near billericay though. Not implausible but a bit far maybe?
