Can anyone help with the following?
I have a Thomas Langcake marrying Jane Barwis in June 1673 at Holme Cultram and having the following issue:
William Langcake 1675
Nicholas Langcake 1676
Ruth Langcake 24 July 1682
Sarah Langcake 30 January 1692
William Langcake 30 June 1694
Mary Langcake 4 December 1697
Frances Langcake 1700
all baptised at Holme Cultram (there may have been other children?).
Ruth Langcake baptised 1682, married on 8 June 1704 at Holme Cultram Samuel Pattinson, who I think was baptised on 13 August 1681 at Holme Cultram (son of Thomas), and had issue.
If anyone can help with Thomas Langcake or Jane Barwis parents I would be very grateful. From what I can gather I think the Langcake and Barwis families intermarried quite a lot, but as yet have been unable to find any help with the above!
