John McGregor and Janet Millar

Hi trying to trace parents of John McGregor and Janet Millar both born abt. 1770's Polmont Stirlingshire, unable to find any marriage, maybe they are one of the many John McGregor and Janet McGregor marriages that show up in my searches. They had 6 Children all born in Polmont, Stirlingshire, Margaret B: 1799, Christian B: 1802, Janet B: 1804, James B:1809, William B: 1811, John B:1806, John Married Helen Gillespie 13 Oct 1832. Polmont, Stirlingshire John McGregor and Helen Gillespie had 3 Children Mungo B:1836  Helen B:1838, John B: 1834 John Married Sarah Kilpatrick Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 1859 they had 10 children

Marriage: John McGregor = Janet McGregor 1793 Kippen Stirling.
On Scottish marriages sometimes a bride is listed under he married name.
Kippen is however about 25 miles from Polmont.
There's nothing for John McGregor = Janet Millar.
1 Baptism in Polmont for Janet Millar 1769.
Parents:
William Millar
Margaret McGibbon
Unfortunately there's this marriage in Polmont:
1794; Janet Millar = James Johnstone.

Thanks for the reply! Well that's a bit of a start I'll get back more investigation to do.
I'll Check to see what I can find on James Johnstone.

It's possible James Johnstone died & Janet remarried to John McGregor.
I notice that 2 of her children are Margaret & William but both common names of course.

Hey, I know I'm about 6 years late on this thread....but wondering if you got anywhere with finding info on John and Janet? I'm currently stuck in this too. I did find a marriage record for John McGregor and Janet Millar on Ancestry from the parish records in Balquidder in 1790 so I'm trying to verify if this is for the correct couple. Any info you found would be appreciated!
