Death and Children of James Joseph H Steele, Gateshead

James Joseph Hetherington Steele, born 1883 married Bridget Parrell in Gateshead.

I cannot locate a death year or children. There was a number of children on the free bmd that may have been born in Toxteth Park, but I am doubtful

Where have you searched? Have you found James or Bridget in any of the censuses after they marry? Have you looked at the Steele children on familysearch who are born in Gateshead in the right timeframe and tried to track them on to census information to see if they belong to James?

As they married in 1917, any children should be indexed with their mother's maiden name.
I can't see any, can you? You mention Toxteth Park.

They married in 1917, so the census would make little progress until the 1921 census is released.
