St. Barnabas Churchyard, Bournmoor Thomas Atkinson
« on: Tuesday 12 August 14 01:24 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I wonder if anybody knows of any monumental inscriptions for  St. Barnabas Churchyard, Bournmoor. I am looking for Thomas Atkinson who died 17 May 1889 at Bournmoor colliery (also called Lambton colliery) According to Durham mining museum page he was buried 21 May 1889 in  St. Barnabas Churchyard, Bournmoor.
Any ideas appreciated, thank you. :)

I have a Bournmoor website you might be interested in:

I also have the burial records for St Barnabas Burnmoor. Thomas Atkinson was interred 21st May 1889, age 52. His address is given simply as "Chilton Moor." Grave location: C5.3.

The M.I. records indicate several Atkinson headstones but none for Thomas I'm afraid.
