I have just looked back at that family tree and the convent address was in Alice's mother's obituary. Mother died 1904.

If her mother died in 1904 - Alice was then only 12yrs old.

No it is not confusing it is straightforward . The threads are as I have put it earlier are

1. Early Life- slowly but surely being resolved by some great help by some fantastic Rootschatters

2. Building - Now resolved thank to some excellent help.

3. Later life - as a nun This is more difficult as she now has a different name and I have been given very little to go on .  Heywood You have found an earlier enquiry from the same source placed elsewhere . The lady contacted me directly as I am based close to Swansea.

It is better that these items are dealt with separately as they do not overlap and cover three topics even if it involves one individual .
Finally I am very grateful for all the help that I am being given
Thank You

Just to clarify. I have not found an earlier enquiry. It is from information in a published tree.

Thank you Heywood for that. Much appreciated. To clarify this lady has used a number of online resources to get information. She has her trees on  with a couple of providers. She also placed enquiries over the last couple of years . I assumed wrongly that you had come across one of these posts.

Thank you for that Carole. I once again wrongly assumed that you had gained access to the obituary.
As I mentioned earlier I  have requested this information from the Lady and I am waiting to see it . But as Heywood rightly put it the comment was that the name of the convent was indecipherable on the obit , so I guess we shall have to wait and see. Anyway thank you for your help. I'm now off out clubbing with a dozen or so friends...so can't stop goodnight
