To mark the centenary ofWW1 the Australian War Memorial is projecting the name of each of the 62,000 Australians who gave their lives during the First World War onto the façade of the Hall of Memory at the Australian War Memorial. This special commemoration runs from 4 August 2014 until 11 November 2018. During this period, the entire set of 62,000 names will be displayed about 30 times.

George CRAVEN's name was projected yesterday evening at 7.25pm.  (25 September, 2014)

Hello Judith

Thank you so much for that information and for the image.  I am thankful he has had some commemoration for the life he gave to us.

Is there a hyperlink available and a sequence or schedule that I would be able to view the next time George's name is displayed please?

Regards

I think the name projection is a great idea.  There were other folk there last night photographing other names.
