Doesn't seem to be a problem with the surname, shows the same parents , siblings etc as 1891. (plus the new additions) Have you tried looking each family member up individually ?  Seems strange they wouldn't be on My Heritage.   ???  But not a web-site I've used. Maybe your trying to do to many different lines at the same time and you've missed seeing them.

Odd

I still cannot find them on the site even though I have checked each of them, may be that the names or location has been mistranscribed

Don't worry about it  :)

It is definitely the same family on the 1901 - William and Catherine plus 8 children. David is given as David H Watkins. That might help you to find him on the 1911 and a marriage. As Sandra said we are not allowed to give or ask for any information that could only have come from the 1911.

Thank you

I found him, the first name was written out of whack, but the addition of a middle named helped greatly

Rosie did ask the question about a middle name in reply 1 - sometimes that can really help in searching. There was a birth record for a David Henry Watkins - Q1 Jan 1883 Neath Glamorgan - 11 a 615.  Really need to search through these records and get the full facts and not just guess. Just a small point but if you had found the correct birth it would have shown you the middle name and made your search to find David easier.
More difficult to pin down a marriage - if you have looked at free BMD you will see how many David Watkins in Neath and Glamorgan between 1901 - 1920.

The probate for Minnie Watkins - 2 Feb 1955 - shows there was a son - Minnie Watkins of Park View, New Road, Tondu, Glamorgan widow died 9 July 1954. Administration London 2 Feb 55 to David Hy Watkins aircraft fitter & Lucy Richards (wife of Wm Griffith Richards). Effects: £2266

If you check free bmd  March 1915 - Bridgend - 11a 1981 - birth could be him.

and possibly a sister  Lucy - Sept 1911 - Bridgend - 11a 2007

and maybe a brother William E - Sept 1913 - Bridgend - 11a 1931 who may have died June 1919 - Bridgend -  - 11 a 798

Minnie previously married to William Jacka - born 11 August 1879 in  Tolgas, Illogan, Cornwall - Died  22 January 1920 in  Illogan, Cornwall.

Free BMD Redruth - 5c 250 - March 1920 - William Jacka.

Free BMD Redruth - 5c 332 - July/Aug/Sept 1903 - William Jacka and Minnie Matthews.

Explains the delay in the marriage of David Henry Watkins and Minnie Jacka/Matthews.

On the WW1 Service record William Jacks says he is married but living apart from wife.
