1891/1901 KEY & WELLS
« on: Thursday 30 June 05 00:39 BST (UK) »
Hi, can anyone track down Charles Key b 1830 Northampton, tailors salesman (usually), with wife Harriet b 1835/7 Lynn NFK for me please?

Harriet died 1898 in Edmonton, Charles died 1907 W.Ham (I'm hoping he was living with one or more of his children by then).

I am also searching for any entries for Edward Oscar Wells b 1865 Mile End, & family.

I have London disks to 1901 and Essex to 1891, so index refs only required to save typing :) just with they'd hurry up & get Essex 1901 out!

Thanks in advance

Doreen

Hi Bernie
Yes, he did have a son, Harry James, b Dec qtr 1877, so you seem to have found the right family... whereabouts is that reference for? It's too high for London... are you able to get the rest of the household for me please?

regards
Doreen

Thank you so much for your help there, Bernie. I would never have found the Keys without that as I haven't got any of the Middx disks... Enfield was way too far north for the rest of my lot... the universe ended at the Lea Bridge Road!
Rachel Wells nee Key later married my ggf after his first wife died, and was the only grandmother my dad remembers (even though she wasn't actually).

Thanks again
Doreen
