My sister in law has the middle name Haywood, which came down from her Peet ancestors from Doddington, Cambridgeshire. Two of them, a male and a female, also bore the middle name Haywood, and this is supposed to come from some great John Haywood from the time of Oliver Cromwell or who had some connection with Oliver Cromwell and who had some link with the Peet family. Can anyone help to perhaps identify this John Haywood at all? it's an intriguing puzzle and she'd like to know the connection.
