So this is my first post here, as I was directed here from my yahoo answers question. I am looking for my great (3xs) grandparents, Solomon and Elizabeth Clayton. Since I do not pay for my access to ancestry.com (my school has a paid subscription).
I searched through the FreeBMD in all of England and I found the county he (Solomon) is born and that is East Riding of Yorkshire. The search is off by one month, but it is the only one born in 1846. I have his naturalization records but nothing else, so this is starting to get difficult. Their marriage record according to the same site was 1866 in September in Radford, Nottinghamshire, but I can't find it.
Can anyone help me?
