Emily Goodwin's birth date & location

I've drawn a blank on locating the birth date & location of my g/g/g mother, Emily Goodwin, born circa 1831-2. I am assuming she was born in the Stoke-on-Trent district as she married George Hancock in Burslem at St John's on 26 Feb 1854.  Her father was William Goodwin but I have no information about her mother or siblings. I would be very grateful for any help in completing her missing information.

Well Pam,if the Mary Goodwin is relevant,then the following two marriages may be of interest;William Goodwin to a Mary Evans listed at Wolstanton in 1830.There is also aone between a William Goodwin to a Mary Green at Burslem in 1831.

Now I wouldn't be put off by her listed age of 25 in 1841.I have similarly aged people I've found in my Tree in 1841 who were in fact born 1811-1813.

Thanks both for the info, of interest is Thomas Goodwin as I have now found a Thomas Goodwin as a witness to the marriage of George & Emily. So a possibility exists from the workhouse!
