marriage dec quarter v1858 Foleshill district 6d 588 to Lucy Whyment other poss bride Ann Davies Edwards. No other likely Lucy matches in the area.

Going back to the Prakel side, has anyone found Frederic in 1881? His wife Elizabeth is Head occ publican with two children - Alfred Lewis Williams who is down as her son. The census scan shows his surname was first dittoed to be Prakel then crossed out and Williams added. He is born about 1870.

Ruth was the 1st wife of William Matthews, who married Isabella after her death and they were the parents of Abraham who was the father of Maud.
It is getting a bit confusing doing two branches at once.

I am so pleased that you have found some of my mothers family, as Maud ( mum) would never tell any of us about her life  or family she only said that her mother passed away giving birth to her, I did not really have any thing to go on..
I still do not know if she ever did marry Casper Prakel, I do not know if you can tell me did mothers family or fathers family ever have any Romany Gypsy in the blood line(s) as Mother use to say we did I do not know if that was at all true..
