I didn't bother persisting, but what I was hoping to find were some Scottish census transcriptions, but couldn't even find out where they were hiding. Gave up before I'd started. Was feeling lazy and not up to the challenge ....

England, Wales & Scotland censuses are all included in the same Record Sets and not separately as they are on Ancestry.

A couple of names I threw in gave no results anyway.

Too late now, but I will keep that in mind for next time.
