Hi Nick,
Thomas Taylor married Phillis Winterbotham at St Mary's Church, Stockport  12 Aug 1816.
Thomas a bachelor, parish of Prestbury Book keeper
Phillis a spinster this parish [Stockport]
They were married by licence and the witnesses were John Wood who I know to be a parish official and Mary Winterbotham.

The baptisms all took place as garstonite said at St Chad in Romily and residence is Poynton except for Thomas b1824 at his baptism the family have moved and are residing in Marple Bridge, Thomas senior an Inn Keeper ???

I'm not sure but there are entries on both the 1841 and 1851 census that could relate to this family.

1841 shows a Phillis Boulton with a James Boulton/Bordton occ innkeeper with them is Hannah, David, Thomas and two more children John and Mary Taylor. The ages are out a bit but I think this is the same family.Have a look at it, see what you think.
HO107 Piece 111

The 1851 shows a similar family with brothers David and Thomas.
