Hi

Years given were birth years - not years of death - so they could have died at any time from thereon.

What was the latest census you have them on as that will give you a clue as to when they died?

Hello Newbie & Carole.
I could ask for a NBI look up,  and I could try my nearest Library here in WA, they were all on the 1881 census. I should put a posting & see if they are on the 1891 & 1901 census.

Caleb BAILEY married Jane POUND. (there was a previous thread on this).   They were both still alive at the time of the 1901 census.

Jacob married Kezia - Kezia is on the 1891 and 1901 census as a widow, but both are featured in 1881.

There is a death listed for a Jacob BAILEY in 1891

The only issue is that age at death is shown as 73.

My grandfather is Arthur Bailey and I am trying to find information on my grandparents Caleb and Jane who lived In Chaddlesworth. Caleb died in 1925 in Bradfield but I cannot find the date Jane Pounds died or where.  Can anyone help me with this information.

Welcome to Rootschat Curly121.

Unless someone has access to the National Burial Register (which I dont) and he is on there, you will have to buy the Death Cert to find exactly when he died.

Given Janes dob in 1911 she likely died 1951 age 84 (FreeBMD)
