W41 at Swaffham
« on: Saturday 02 July 05 14:37 BST (UK) »
 Hello rootschatters

I have just received a birth cert for Ellen Fry, born 19th May 1841 at what looks like W41. at Swaffham, her father was William Fry, a corporal in the Royal Marines, he was also the informant and no place of residence is given for him.
Does anyone out there in rootschat know what W41. is? ???

I think it says simply "1841" the "8" is slightly tipped over.

Hope that helps!  It was at Swaffham.

If you need any more info re Swaffham or Norfolk please feel free to contact me as I live in central Norfolk and Swaffham is just up the road.
