Thanks for trying.
The 1891 and 1901 are where I got Bloxwich from. Cheslyn Hey was his marriage cert.
William was a miner. I can find lots of Williams but not with a 'John' This is why I was hoping 1871 would show the family

Hi again. Sorry I got a bit confused there. I have now searched pretty much all of the Walsall area, using the online surname index, and there is not a sniff of a John aged about 7, father William anywhere as far as I can see. Sorry but it looks as though they had moved elsewhere. Gues you'll have to wait until Ancestry name indexes the Staffordshire bit too. :(

Looked at all the following areas:

Aldridge & Great Barr

Bloxwich, Leamore & Birchills

Brownhills, Walsall Wood & Shelfield

Darlaston & Bentley

Pelsall

Walsall & Rushall

Willenhall

Rose (Black Country),Downs (Black Country),Wolloxall (any and all),Bark (Derbyshire),Wright (Derbyshire),Marsden (Derbyshire), Wallace (Black Country)

Thanks for that. I will make a note of where you have researched and as you say I will have to wait,

Thanks again

Hi
I have been researching my family tree and came across your post, I don't know if this is the John you are looking for but here goes:
John Lloyd DOB 1821 Clun, Shropshire
Wife: Ann (E) Lloyd DOB 1832 Downton Hereford  by the way both were named Lloyd when single. They were married in Kingsland, Hereford 1853 (John's fathers name was: David Lloyd and Ann's Father's name was: William Lloyd)

Children were:
Amy E Lloyd DOB: 1877 in Aldridge
Samuel Lloyd DOB:1869 in Rudge Heath, Shropshire
Ann E Lloyd DOB: 1863 Ruabon Flintshire
William Lloyd DOB: 1861 Marlow, Herefordshire
Jane Lloyd DOB 1859 Downton, Herefordshire

Did this help?

Ann Lloyd

Hi Ann,

Welcome to RootsChat.

I am very sorry to say that our email notification to John has bounced back to us, it looks like he updated his email in 2013 but we do not know what it is?? I have tried searching but can not find an alternative way of contacting him.

Regards

Sarah
