Look up request for Hand family of Oakham

I believe that Christopher Hand was born in or around Oakham c1699. CCED records show that he attended Oakham School before going to Emmanuel College in 1717.

I would appreciate some assistance if anyone has access to the earlier Oakham records that are not on IGI

I do have some earlier Rutland records -what are you hoping to find?
Do you have any other info about him?

Many thanks for the offer. The PR's initially for him & siblings, etc would be a good starting point as then I will know if he was born in or around Oakham.

I've found the following bp's, all Oakham and all children of Will(iam) and Joan- hoping this is the family:
William 10/11/1692
John 15/10/1694
Samuel 12/11/1696 - also bu Samuel same date
Elizabeth 3/7/1701
Francis  3/3/1702/3
Thomas 26/12/1705
George 21/12/1707
Couldn't find a ma for Will and Joan in Rutland unfortunately.

I would commend to you the LRFHS CD no 75 Vol 2 which has lots of Hands listed.  It's about £10 direct from LRFHS.
