Florence Walker b abt 1881

On behalf of a friend, I am searching for parents of Florence Walker.

She was b abt 1881. On 21 Jun 1906 she married William Shanks Black in Norwich. I know I could ask if my friend wants to buy the certificate but would be nice to track her birth and, more especially, her parents without the expense.

Husband was born in Bathgate, West Lothian and I have them on the 1911 census. Just says Florence was b England!!!

I did find a Florence in 1891 and 1901 with parents John & Jane Walker. RG13; Piece: 1846; Folio: 129; Page: 4.   And I did wonder if this was them as the father John was born in Scotland and so were the 2 lodgers who were drapers, same occ as John. But I realise this is not PROOF!!  Just a gut feeling.

Is anyone researching this family or could help?

If you really want proof, and with such a common surname as Walker, then the marriage certificate is the way to go.
